Rigid setups, positive-rake carbide, heavy constant feed and flood coolant; surface speeds roughly half those for 316L to avoid work hardening and edge build-up.
Can Zeron 100 be welded?
GTAW/GMAW/SMAW with overalloyed Zeron 100X (25Cr-10Ni-4Mo) filler, heat input ~0.5–1.5 kJ/mm, interpass ≤150 °C, argon+2%N₂ purge; no PWHT — reheat only above 1100 °C followed by water quench.
