Is 2007 easy to machine?
Outstanding free-cutting behaviour — high speeds, sharp positive-rake tools, short broken chips, excellent surface finish and tool life; ideal for bar-fed automats.
Can 2007 be welded?
Not recommended for fusion welding (Pb/Bi cause hot cracking and porosity); join by mechanical fastening, adhesive or press/interference fits.
Can 2007 be formed, bent or molded?
